A unique play-park in North Dallas, NorthBark Dog Park is where your furry, four-legged friends can run around and play. Designed specifically for dogs, the park contains large stretches of open lawns, benches for owners and walking trails. Its open areas are perfect for the dogs to run around, exercise and play and interact with other dogs. To avoid untoward incidents, park also has separate areas for small and big dogs.
This beautiful freshwater lake offers a nice oasis in the city. Bachman Lake is a man-made lake was originally to be Dallas' water source, but that idea was later rejected because the lake was too small. Today this lake is perfect for fishing and sailing. If you want to fully enjoy the scenery then take the 3.3 mile (5.3 kilometer) trail that surrounds the lake.
