The South Lakes Park is a lovely place to enjoy with family and offers recreational facilities like fishing. The park has a kids' play area, dog stations, picnic spaces, grills, two lakes, benches for resting and much more!

The Water Works Park features four giant slides, a children's play pool, a continuously flowing river, a sand volleyball court, an outdoor amphitheater, party and picnic pavilions, concessions, and lots of green space! BONUS! Entry to the water park includes access to the Natatorium. Coolers are permitted; no glass, knives, or alcohol. The Water Works Park is open for sneak peek weekends sporadically during May, and is open all summer long after Denton ISD is out. Denton Natarorium is located next to Water Works Park, and the two share an address. The Natatorium has two indoor pools (a ten-lane competition pool with diving well and leisure pool with slide) and is used for year-round swim lessons, party rentals, water exercise classes, the Denton Dolphins Swim Team, Family Fun Nights, and more.
The Denton County Historical Park lies on Mulberry Street in Denton, TX. The park comprises of the popular Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum and historic homes such as Bayless-Selby House and Quakertown House. These turn-of-century attractions offer an interesting insight into Denton's past. Tours are available.
