Avondale Park is spread over 17.85 acres (7.22 hectares), on Churchill Drive in Denton, TX. The park includes picnic tables, playgrounds, a basketball court, two tennis courts, pavilions, swing sets and walking trails, to name a few. Facilities such as restrooms, grills, drinking fountains and such are provided.

Quakertown Park
Previously known as Civic Center Park, Quakertown Park is situated close to Downtown Denton. This 32 acre (12.95 hectare) facility is a good place to spend the day with the family. On the premises you will find a playground, amphitheater, picnic tables, garden walks, swimming pool and more. This outdoor space is also the site for the annual Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. The Denton Blues Festival has also been held here.
The South Lakes Park is a lovely place to enjoy with family and offers recreational facilities like fishing. The park has a kids' play area, dog stations, picnic spaces, grills, two lakes, benches for resting and much more!
