Earlier known as Cullen-Barker Park, George Bush Park is a 7,800 acres (3156.55 hectare) county park. Established in the 1940s, it is managed by Steve Radack, the Commissioner of Harris County 'Precinct Three'. The park houses playgrounds, soccer fields, shooting range, ponds, model aircraft flying fields and jogging trails. The park has a large wooden bridge known as the Boardwalk. It has managed to bag many awards and accomplishments since its origin.
