Explore the history of the Hill family at the Hill House. The historic landmark reveals facts on the Hills and allows you to encounter historical treasures spanning centuries. Built in the style of an English villa in 1825, the former home of the Hill family for nearly 150 years presents a wonderful depiction of their life story. The early English decor and furnishings have been so well preserved that you may be forgiven for thinking that you have stepped back in time.
This 83-foot tall granite statue is a wonderful memorial to one of the principle defenders of American civil liberties, Martin Luther King. The base of the monument is inscribed with his most significant quotes. It is one of the tallest monuments of its kind in the United States and it well worth a visit.
