The busy eatery offers a rotating menu that features a variety of delectable small plates, barley noodles, handcrafted steamed bread, fresh salads, and well-portioned mains. The Fried Blue Prawns, Smoked Pork Ramen, and the Whole Dover Sole are some of this location's specialties. The small plates can be best savored when paired with the signature 'Monkey Fizzness' or the 'Bonji Old-Fashioned' cocktail.
Luke Holden is the creator behind the eponymous "shacks" located throughout Manhattan and some say this is where you can find the best lobster roll in the city. Goodman's, the eatery is tucked within fashion designer Bergdorf Goodman's store. Perched on the ninth floor, it overlooks the lush Central Park. The exquisite interiors are credited to designer Kelly Wearstler. Cool shades of green and blue, antique furniture and star-like chandeliers fill the space. For a store restaurant, the menu is fairly good and features soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches and desserts. Food comes in good portions with wonderful flavors!
The huge serving area at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House is more like a stadium than a dining room, but there is a certain elegance to it nonetheless. The massive window spaces on three sides help to open up this rambling steakhouse to the excitement of Midtown Manhattan. Even more importantly, the steaks are top quality. Appetizers include shrimp cocktail, shrimp remoulade and marinated shrimp. Not surprisingly, steak is the way to go here, but dishes like pastas, lobster and osso bucco are on the menu as well.
