Huey's Poplar - East Memphis

Huey's has been bringing Blues, Brews, & Burgers in Memphis since 1970. Perhaps the most unique characteristics of our locations are the graffiti walls, hometown feel and local live music. Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey's are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey's former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to have donated many hours, monetary support and services for countless community organizations, schools, and nonprofits over the years.

Side Street Grill

A regular drinking-hole in Memphis's Overton Square, Side Street Grill is a great place to have a late-night drink or light snack. Especially so for tourists, as this place is quite light on the pocket. They serve speciality martinis that quite reflect the creativity of the brewer with some unconventional flavors on offer like wedding cake, chocolate- and-strawberry and so on. A few dinner items like steak are also served. The best thing to do here, however, is to gather a couple of friends and have a peaceful cigar and drink on the restaurant's patio in the balmy night.

Pollard’s BBQ

Smoked slow cooked pork shoulder, pork ribs, rib tips, BBQ spaghetti, burgers, homemade hot links.

Slider Inn - Downtown

Slider Inn - Downtown is the premier Downtown destination for fun, fast-casual dining in a sleek space – formerly a vintage truck garage – in the heart of the South Main Arts District. Enjoy signature mouth-watering mini burgers, The First Lobster Roll in Memphis with fresh Maine lobster shipped in 3x a week, an expansive local beer selection, friendly staff, and pet-friendly patio seating that will keep you coming back again and again. No Slider Inn experience is complete without the world-famous Jameson Slushie, our Instagram-worthy signature frozen sipper with Jameson Irish Whiskey, housemade lemonade, ginger beer, bitters, and lots of love!

Automatic Slim's

Expect hip décor and great food at this restaurant, which serves up tasty Caribbean and Southwestern dishes. Sit at the bar and have one of the many flavors of martinis. The best seats, though, are by the window (with a view of the Peabody) and on the mezzanine. As for the food, the Voodoo Stew is a standout, with big chunks of seafood in a lusty sauce. Other specialties include the Coyote Chips—potato chips with a red pepper sauce—as well as the Coconut Mango Shrimp and the various polenta dishes. The lunch menu features large sandwiches such as salmon on sourdough bread.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Since it was founded in 1958 as a single pancake house in Ohio, Perkins today has nearly 300 restaurants in 32 states and Canada, of which approximately 85 are company-owned. Committed to delivering 100% satisfaction through service excellence and positive dining experiences, the brand embraces a Kindness Served Daily philosophy.

Arcade Restaurant

This is a Memphis tradition, with very non-traditional food. It has occupied this corner on Main since 1919, but the cuisine has been updated with spectacular, prize-winning pizza recipes (featuring pesto, goat cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes), and Portobello mushroom sandwiches at lunch. It is a great place to hop off the trolley between Beale Street and the Civil Rights Museum.
