The Library Bistro is the first word in delectable breakfasts, scrumptious weekend brunches and personally prepared private dining menus. And you'll find the last word at the Bookstore Bar, a sweeping tale of Scotches from distant lands, bourbons and whiskies bottled by honest American distilleries, and locally brewed beers and craft wines of standout character and distinctly independent Northwest personality.
Dogs, Burgers, Fries and Shakes. Matt's has been open in Seattle for over 20 years. If you're looking for a business that takes hot dogs seriously, Matt's is for you. Looking for a big warehouse dog and a drink for less than $2.00? We're not that. We serve 100% pure beef dogs with no by products or fillers. Matt's dogs "snap" when you bite into them and are topped with fresh ingredients. Hamburgers are made to order: Toasted buns, fresh lettuce, onions and tomatoes. We don't start your order until you give it to us. Fries that are crispy and hot and hand spun shakes that are really good. You'll be able to taste the difference. Come in and see Matt (yes, he works there everyday).
The Comfort Zone restaurant is a soul food restaurant located in the south-end. The restaurant offers a large verity of southern cuisine.
Bay Cafe
In 1988, Bill and Carole opened the Bay Cafe at Fisherman's Terminal. The fishermen for years have enjoyed the large portions of food and great service here on the waterfront. Bay Cafe at Fisherman's Terminal. The Bay Cafe sits just feet from the wharf, with a view that eclipses the famous "fisherman's memorial" and is a hub for visitors and locals. The diner has a feeling of friendliness, spaciousness and serves delicious food. Bill has now been joined by his son Peter who enjoys being a chef and managing the restaurant. Come in and enjoy breakfast or lunch with your family - walk around the pier, enjoy great food and the waterfront.
Just downstairs from the ultra-hip Ace Hotel, this Belltown favorite offers spicy fare and tasty cocktails. It's a great choice for dinner or weekend brunch. Portions are more than generous-an appetizer may provide more than enough sustenance. Entree choices include options for both vegans and meat-lovers, and diners will love the creamy, smoky pepper flavor of the Chipotle Mashed Potatoes. A decent and well-priced wine list presents interesting choices, but the cocktails are simply stellar, with generous pours, great top-shelf selections and fresh juices as mixers.
