First established in 1989 as Burgers Etc. and in 2012 we became Burgers and More. Even though we changed names, we have not changed many of our tasty recipes you all know and love. Dish is a new kind of restaurant that offers the quality and creativity of higher priced restaurants, with the value and comfort of a neighborhood coffee shop. We focus on classic American food, the kind of recipes you might find in an old Sunset magazine or your grandmother's cookbooks. People who love a great breakfast restaurant will appreciate the things we do at Dish. Like roasting bone-in hams every morning. Our lunch menu offers a great selection of American classics, with over ten salads, gourmet sandwiches, burgers, fresh seafood, pastas, chicken and steak. The dinner menu features home-style traditional American favorites such as roasted ham with macaroni & greens and pork chops with apple chutney. A full bar and wine list is available, along with a rare beer list. There are also fresh squeezed juices and boutique sodas. Kitchen Mouse started almost 4 years ago as a small catering business in owner Erica Daking's home kitchen, cooking for friends and private dinners. Soon, word got out of Erica's modern spin of gluten free, vegan food that not only invited the health conscious to enjoy, but everyone else too. Her plant-based, farmer's market food booms with California flavor and drew such a crowd that it grew out of her house and into something much bigger. Kitchen Mouse Cafe opened up its doors in May of 2014 in Highland Park. In 2016, we are still catering and continuing to expand. Kitchen Mouse has been featured in goop, Self Magazine, Eater, LA Weekly, & more.
