The Finnish Bistro Cafe & Coffee

The Finnish Bistro has noticed that since May of 2014 all of our raving reviews have been removed...this was when I, Sandra Weise the owner, chose not to advertise with Yelp. Use Yelp at your own risk. The Finnish Bistro is a special gathering place set in the charming St. Anthony Park neighborhood of St. Paul. We continue a tradition of delicious local and healthy food blended with delectable favorites from Europe and all over the world!

The Uptowner Caf on Grand

The Uptowner Café on Grand offers homemade food for breakfast and lunch in Saint Paul, MN.

Day by Day Cafe

Hearty egg and potato dishes accompany a wide selection of fresh bread. As you might expect, the Day by Day Cafe doesn't serve alcohol, but you certainly won't miss it with the nice, strong Dunn Bros. Coffee flows freely for the price of a single cup. The dining room is spacious, brick-lined and decorated with unique art. During the summer months, the back patio is open for a remarkably pleasant experience, but get there early on weekends to avoid crowds. Dinner is also served on weekdays. Early-rising or nocturnal locals get there before 7am for the Very Early Bird special, but prices are reasonable all day. Cash or cheque only.

Keys Café & Bakery

This down to earth restaurant serves up home cooking at its best. The original restaurant on Raymond Avenue opened in 1973 and always has a line waiting for breakfast. And since breakfast is served throughout the day, the place always seems to be packed. The customary breakfast staples can be found here, along with a few surprises, including a Mexican Omelet and Bran Apple Walnut Pancakes. Lunch offers meatloaf and potatoes and roast beef, grilled pork chops, liver with onions and bacon and other comfort foods make patrons feel right at home. Soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers are also served at lunch and dinner. There are a number of locations throughout the Twin Cities. All serve breakfast and lunch, but only a few locations stay open for dinner. Check website for more details.
