We have one of the best chicken fried steaks in the area and our burgers, wings, and cheesesteaks are among some of our customer's favorites. Stop in during the week from 4pm-7pm and enjoy our Happy Hour. We serve a great selection of beer and wine. We also have a couple of pool tables, and our family friendly patio has games that everyone can enjoy. We are one of the few places where the kitchen is open late seven days a week. When we opened our shop a little over nine years ago, our idea was to provide excellent, melt-in-your-mouth food in a fun and unpretentious setting downtown. We felt that the downtown area had so much charm and appeal and also that is was in dire need of good food. After we settled on the site, the next task was to fine tune the menu. Wanting to keep it simple yet scrumptious was always a challenge and it still is. Overall, we think we have something for everybody and the most gratifying part is when people come to us after they've eaten and they tell us "that's the absolute best sandwich I've ever eaten". It really happens all the time. Of course we offer so much more than sandwiches. We make our soups fresh daily, and offer a variety of salads and desserts. All of our desserts are made from scratch in our kitchen. Our recipes are tried and true and guaranteed to please your palate. At Amy's & Cathy's Takeout, we just love good food and we love to see the pleasure on our customers' faces when they bite into one of our famous Ultimate Turkeys or Central Park Chicken Salad Sandwiches.
