Though simply named as 'Salsa's', this restaurant offers some of the finest cuisine Mexican and Caribbean cuisine in Asheville. The preparations are quite experimental but retain the authentic Cuban flavors and the ingredients used are organic. 'Salsa made with pumpkin seeds' is one such mouth-watering delicacy. If you prefer spicy food, 'fire-roasted pepper tacos' is sure to delight you. Among the usual beverages, one also finds Jamaican red and white wine here. This place is usually noisy with loud music playing in the background and is crowded because of the limited space; but the creative menu and fiery food more than make up for it.
Puebla inspired, traditional cooking process and techniques. Corn (Maiz) from Oaxaca Mexico, cooked and milled in our store and hand created one by one viewed from our bar in to our open kitchen. All of our proteins are humane, wild caught and free range local. This is the mecca for wholesome clean, fast and fresh Mexican. No freezer. No microwave. Just sharp knives and hot surfaces.
