Housed right in Downtown Minneapolis, Day Block Brewery showcases their impressive selection of draft brews from their humble brew pup restaurant. The beers are the definite highlight of Day Block, the standard styles of pale ale, ipa, stout and porter all making an appearance, but distinguished from other breweries by specialty ingredients and techniques such as cold pressed coffee in the porter and marris otter malt in the classic English pale. A fine food menu contains some American standards as well as novelty bar orders such as pickle flights - consisting of house made pickles - as well as bacon flights, offering a tasty selection of daily bacon items.

Donatelli's has served surprisingly good pizza to countless North Suburban league teams and their families for over 30 years from the same mid-70s strip mall. The pizza is renowned for having a proper, thin crust and plenty of toppings; it's also delivered within a few mile radius. Often flooded with children, the booths are deep and private in this cavernous back-room eatery. Other delights include an ice cream bar and an expanded menu featuring antipasti and a selection of baked items. They're proudly local with team photos and trophies to prove it.
