If you are a fan of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines then drop by at the Troy Restaurant. The eatery has a relaxed and comforting atmosphere and offers homemade food to its guests. On the food menu they serve a variety of Mediterranean and Turkish style vegetarian dishes, Turkish style chicken and beef dishes, kebabs to name a few. Guests are allowed to bring their own drinks and they can enjoy it with their meals. After a hearty meal do try their Turkish coffee and homemade cakes.
This local favorite doesn't disappoint even the hungriest cowboy. Southwest favorites offered in huge portions are served with a bevy of libations to boot. Think saloon atmosphere with bistro fare but don't be fooled, the food packs a big punch. Try the green Chile mac and cheese or their ever-so-juicy 22oz bone-in ribeye, to make you remember why you love Texas cooking. Locals can't get enough of the oven baked kettle of green Chile pork stew. The mood here is just as lively as the food, thanks to tasty drinks like the Roaring margaritas and other specials.

Open since 1975, this Austin establishment has been a mainstay on the fine dining scene ever since. The complimentary valet service, charming Clarksville neighborhood setting, and exquisite cuisine prepared by expert chef Larry McGuire has this place constantly buzzing with activity. The imaginative menu will have your mouth watering as you try to decide between a bone-in New York strip steak or Akaushi ribeye and whether or not you want to top it with garlic confit and rosemary butter or béarnaise sauce. Don't forget to save room for desserts, their soufflés are often raved about.
With tons of Chinese restaurants scattered around the city, Din Ho offers something that few others do: traditional Chinese cuisine. Eschewing more Americanized Chinese fare, the expansive menu lists dishes bursting with Chinese vegetables like bitter squash and snow pea leaves, hot pots (meats and veggies served in a hot clay pot), fried tofu dishes, offal and plenty of seafood. One of the specialties of the house is the barbecue - juicy pork and duck served with a sweet and savory, shiny coating. The sounds of the barbecue being freshly chopped add to the atmosphere of Din Ho’s dining room. While there are no dessert offerings, fresh orange segments provide a sweet finish to meals.

Top Notch
When you are on your way to Top Notch, don't be surprised if you have a déjà vu moment. It's probably because you're recalling Matthew McConaughey and his buddies having their burgers and fries at this very place in 'Dazed and Confused'. Top Notch is probably one of the fewest places to have an indoor charcoal grill, which gives their cheeseburgers the added oomph. The fried chicken(with fries and coleslaw on the side) and shrimp is also a local favorite, but neither popularity nor fame can make Top Notch hike their prices. You gotta love them.

The name refers to the Canje Pheasant the national bird of Guyana. We will pull inspiration not just from mainland Guyana but from many of the islands in the region. From Jamaica to Puerto Rico, Canje will explore cooking techniques, ingredients, and the many expressions of vibrant food across the region. Tucked away on the east side of Austin, this lively environment will have a unique cocktail program boasting both spirit forward and fruit driven cocktails and a small selection of natural wines.
