Area 405
Housed in a warehouse, and owned and operated by artists, AREA 405 is a place dedicated to foster an environment where art, in all its forms, can be expressed and shared freely. Its location inside a more than 150-year-old industrial building gives the venue an urban art space-like feel, with the interiors functionally furnished, without too many embellishments, conveying an existence based on purpose, rather than glamor. A lively part of the Station North Arts and Entertainment District, AREA 405 presents art in the form of paintings, sculptures, video installations, film screenings, performances and more, thus providing the city with a sort of one-stop for arts. Do see the website for information on upcoming events and other details.
