Studio James Daniel

Fine Art and Classical Portraiture Simply put, James can draw and he knows how to "see." You may think this is common amongst artists, however, that is not the case. Artists today are burdened with a lack of training. This creates a shortfall of skills needed to render the subject correctly. When you look at portraiture today you will see arms and legs in which the bones are missing. This because there is no knowledge of anatomy. Others, the head is too large or the arms are too long. This is due to not seeing proportions. Worst of all, the expression looks thoughtless. The list goes on. Don't settle on an artist because he or she can create a "realistic" image that "looks" impressive. Or, because of name recognition. In this time of internet mass marketing the best known artists are the ones showing deficiencies. The world is saturated with artists. No thanks again to the internet, anyone can be an artist regardless of skill or training. This makes it difficult for the client to distinguish quality from substandard. What separates James from the pack is his inherent ability, true classical training, and a unique intuitive insight. This blend of attributes results in the creation of images that are "right" on every level. James' skill stems from natural ability and training handed down by masters dating back hundreds of years. You can see proof of this in the about section.
