Manitou Candle Co. is more than a candle shop. It’s a creative, hand-poured experience inside a restored historic bank in Cincinnati’s Columbia-Tusculum district. We craft classic soy candles with a modern perspective, blending incredible scents with a timeless Mid-Century space. Our back room transforms into a Candle Workshop, where guests join us for a 2-hour, hands-on class designed around learning, creating, and gathering around the flame. With over 100 fragrances to explore, you’ll discover scents that spark your senses and have endless opportunities to create your own custom blend. We also host private candle making classes (perfect for birthdays, bachelorettes, and team outings) and welcome groups of 8–20. For public classes, visit our Workshop page online; for private bookings, email us with your preferred date, time, and group size. In addition to our workshops, our retail boutique features hand-poured candles alongside a curated selection of gifts, home goods, and self-care essentials.
