Opening in 1928, Bambino is a non-profit thrift shop operated by friendly, helpful volunteers from several of the hospital's fund-raising Branches and community members solely for the benefit of UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. Bambino strives to sell quality items to benefit Children's Hospital Oakland, where no child is ever turned away because of an inability to pay. The proceeds from our work contribute to essential needs so the Hospital can continue to offer the highest level of care to its young patients.
urban boutique specializes in new and recycled clothing and accessories of all kinds. This includes contemporary, vintage and designer items for men, women and children. All proceeds go to the benefit of low-income individuals, especially single parents.

All Things Vintage is a small establishment that sells vintage apparel, accoutrements and homeware dating back to the period 1910–1980. Visit Oakland is a private NGO with fully staffed operations and a board of directors. The NGO Visit Oakland is partly funded by the Oakland Tourism Improvement District. They have on their agenda increasing the economic impact of Tourism on Oakland’s economy by way of developing it as a destination. They look to raising, rejoicing and shedding light on Oakland and showcasing its unparalleled tourism-related resources and tourism potential in all spheres of activity for people from all strata of society and from every walk of life to appreciate.
