Creative and tasty sandwiches, wraps, paninis, salads, grain bowls, quiche and specials all made fresh and to order. We make soups daily and from scratch. We also bake all our own cookies and sweet treats. Our House Blend for brewed coffees was selected among more than 100 candidates. It is smooth and balanced - the best! We serve espresso made with organic, fairly traded roasted coffee beans. The breakfast sandwiches are to die for, whether it's the Florentine sandwich with egg and sautéed spinach, or the Benny (egg, ham, and lemon aioli). Complement your meal with one of our cookies, muffins, or fresh baked Danish pastries. The delicious panini and sandwiches are prepared with fresh produce and served with house-made aiolis and sauces. We have a range of savory choices, from the "Carnivore" to the Vegan "Herb Roasted Veggie" panini. IN A HURRY? Call ahead or better yet, use our Founders Cafe app to order your lunch and your food will be ready when you arrive. AMIEL’S is known as "ROCHESTER’S ORIGINAL SUBMARINE SANDWICHES". Many others claim a history of subs; however Amiel’s was the original. The establishment was also the first multi-unit sandwich shop in Rochester. In 1963, Amiel J. Mokhiber, Sr. founded and opened the first AMIEL’S Restaurant, at the corner of West Main St. & Brown Street, an area also known to many as " BullsHead ".
