The Home Team Grill is a food establishment that provides a variety of dining options. Its menu includes appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, beverages and desserts. The restaurant serves jumbo shrimp, Caesar salad, clam chowder, chicken tenders, tuna bites, fiesta quesadillas, bacon cheese fries, grilled beef tenderloins and fish tacos. It additionally offers sliced turkey breast, crusted tilapia, rice pilaf, Cajun shrimp, grilled chicken sandwich, onion burger, pulled pork, crab cakes, meatballs, sirloin steaks, saut ed mushrooms, mashed potatoes and seasoned french fries. The restaurant serves a range of margaritas, beers and wines. Its wine list includes merlot, chardonnay, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, zinfandel and syrah. The Home Team Grill also hosts various fundraising events for schools and organizations.

The house-made food on the menu is reminiscent of it's 1930s beginnings, but we are also known for our creative daily lunch and dinner features. The Village has been a neighborhood favorite for decades. Best-selling novelist and Richmond native, Tom Robbins, used to frequent the joint. The servers are notoriously rude, but that is part of the charm. Their behavior is not so offensive as to prevent guests from having a positive experience. One warning specify a glass or a pitcher for beverages or you will get a pitcher. This is a Village trademark. The food is quite tasty and a good selection of beer and mixed drinks is available. Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Walnuts and Baked Brie with Apples are favorites.
