We practice the traditional art of Shotokan Karate in a contemporary way, in an adult school setting (in the same location for over 25 years), that includes techniques from complementary martial arts and street self-defense. We are a small group of very dedicated adults where you receive significant personal training, and we work as a group to teach and learn from each other. We stress overall health and fitness as critically important. We use a variety of visual learning techniques. We promote students through the ranks of karate, but our primary objective is to make each individual the most effective martial artist that they can be.
