Grandmaster Chi Duong began his martial arts training in 1955 in Vietnam and earned his first degree Black Belt in 1966. He began teaching in the United states in 1975, and founded Chi Kwan Tae Kwon Do in 1994, based on his experiences and strong philosophical values. We are a credentialed Tae Kwon Do school through both Korean and American certifying bodies. Grandmaster Duong is also a certified International Referee, serving not only as referee at international and national tournaments, but also educating other schools in Nevada and surrounding states as Nevada State Tae Kwon Do Vice-President and Referee Chairman. The school holds family and community as the central foundation stones to a happy, successful life. Oneself. One's family. One's Country. The World.
