Hakkoryu Nintai Dojo offers personalized instruction in the art of self defense using the principles of Hakkoryu Jujutsu. Techniques are simple, require no strength, and are designed to control an attacker without causing injury unless necessary. Adult men and women are welcome as well as those in law enforcement for which these self defense methods are very useful. Classes are small so that personalized instruction is possible. Abstract is the highest-rated BJJ & Acrobatics school in TX. We pride ourselves in our technical approach to creating young and not so young athletes. At Abstract, we aim for longevity in the sport and art of Jiu-Jitsu. This directly impacts how we train and what we focus on as a school. Nearly all the coaches compete locally and nationally to gain the experience needed to pass on the torch to the next generation. We don't just talk the talk, we are out there with the students as well. Aside from all the Jiu-Jitsu we also work with many talented dancers, gymnasts, and cheerleaders, helping them become better athletes and tumblers. We work with a few high-school dance teams as well as competitive dance studios in the area. To be honest, what makes us a bit different is the fact that we truly enjoy what we do.
