- Another Alabama football defensive line starter announces return for 2025 season
Another veteran member of the Alabama football defensive line will be back for the 2025 season.
Tim Keenan III announced Saturday he would return to the Crimson Tide for his final season of eligibility.
"I want to apologize for how things ended this season," Keenan wrote in his statement. "I never wanted to go out like that ... so that's why I'm not. When I committed to Alabama , my goal was to win a national championship, and that's what I will work every single day to do."
LT Overton , who played the Bandit position in 2024, also announced his intention to return to Alabama for the 2025 season with one last season of eligibility.
Jihaad Campbell , Jalen Milroe and Tyler Booker each announced their entrance into the 2025 NFL Draft.
Keenan had career highs in tackles (40), tackles for loss (8) and sacks (2.5) in 2024.
Keenan will likely start the season next to sophomore defensive lineman James Smith.
Alabama kicks off its 2025 season Aug. 30 at Florida State.
