The 2025 Boston Marathon has come and gone. Here's a recap of the 129th running of the race from Hopkinton to Boylston Street:

-- WINNER: Sharon Lokedi of Kenya edges out two-time reigning Hellen Obiri to win this year's race in the women's division. Lokedi finished second to Obiri in 2024.

-- WINNER: John Korir of Kenya has won the men's division of the Boston Marathon with a time of 2:04:45. There's a family connection here. That's the third-best time in the history of the race. John Korir is the brother of Wesley Korir, who won the Boston Marathon in 2012.
-- WINNER: American Sussanah Scaroni is the winner of the women's wheelchair division. This is Scaroni's second win in Boston. She last won in 2023.
-- WINNER: Marcel Hug has won the men's wheelchair division with a time of 1:21:33 in a dominant performance. This is the Silver Bullet's eighth win at the Boston Marathon. He is second in all-time wins in the wheelchair division behind Ernst van Dyk, who won 10 times.
-- The 2025 Boston Marathon has now gotten underway as the first wave of general runners have taken off from the starting line in Hopkinton.
