Wilson demanded a trade from the Bengals after getting benched in favor of rookies Demetrius Knight and Barrett Carter under new defensive coordinator Al Golden, relegating him to special teams.
The Bengals will retain the dead cap hit of $4 million in 2026 for Wilson but free up $2.89 million on this year's cap. The Bengals effectively get back a late-round pick they coughed up in the Joe Flacco trade earlier this year.
