The top-seeded Cavaliers dominated the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs by sweeping the eighth-seeded Miami Heat .
After the Cleveland-Miami series ended April 28, the No. 4 Indiana Pacers won their Round 1 series against the No. 5 Milwaukee Bucks 4-1, with the decisive Game 5 played April 29.

The Cavs and Pacers advanced to meet in the second round, otherwise known as the Eastern Conference semifinals. The NBA announced Game 1 will be held May 4, at Rocket Arena in Cleveland . Additional scheduling information will be forthcoming.

Pacers vs. Cavs regular season: Who had the edge during the 2024-25 NBA season?
