- HC Mike Tomlin rules out 3 Steelers for Week 2 vs. Seahawks, including Derrick Harmon
Steelers fans now know which players will be on the sidelines versus the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 — courtesy of head coach Mike Tomlin .
On Tuesday, Tomlin revealed via press conference that Pittsburgh would be without three standout defenders: 2025 first-round rookie DL Derrick Harmon , LB Malik Harrison , and S DeShon Elliott .

Elliott's game-time status comes as no surprise, as it was reported earlier today he would miss several weeks with an MCL sprain. Harrison was spotted wearing a knee brace following the win over the Jets in Week 1, and he's expected to miss time as well.
Despite suffering a knee sprain in the preseason finale versus the Carolina Panthers , there was optimism Harmon would only miss the Steelers ' Week 1 matchup against the Jets — but it appears fans will need to wait a little longer before the first-rounder makes his NFL debut.
