- Jihaad Campbell feels the 'richer just got rich' as Philadelphia Eagles NFL draft pick
Jihaad Campbell found his NFL home by the end of the first round of the NFL draft.
The former Alabama football All-American linebacker who was widely expected to be a first-round NFL draft pick was left waiting until the No. 31 overall pick after a post-NFL combine shoulder injury, which the Philadelphia Eagles traded up and used to secure Campbell.

"I'm going to give it 100%, everything I got in me," Campbell told ESPN. "The richer just got rich."
Campbell was one of two Alabama first-round NFL draft picks along with guard Tyler Booker , who went No. 12 overall to the Dallas Cowboys .
In three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Campbell had 184 career tackles, 16 tackles-for-loss and 5.5 sacks. He has two career interceptions, five pass deflections, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
As a junior, Campbell had 117 tackles – eighth-best in Alabama history – and led the team with 11.5 tackles-for-loss.
