- Steelers legend Big Ben compares 'absolute animal' DK Metcalf to Hall of Fame wideout
Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger returned to practice in Pittsburgh last week — and left completely stunned by WR DK Metcalf .
Roethlisberger, whose jaw dropped at Metcalf's ability to impact the game, recently compared the new Steelers pass catcher to one of the greatest wideouts in NFL history: Hall of Famer Terrell Owens.

"If you want some encouragement, here it comes — if you don't need it, here comes some anyway. DK Metcalf is an absolute animal," Roethlisberger said on his podcast Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger . "We haven't seen a receiver like him, in terms of physical stature and being able to take over a football game, since T.O. He is an absolute animal."
Owens, who is best known for his eight years with the San Francisco 49ers , also found success with the Eagles, Cowboys , Bills, and Bengals — and it's clear Big Ben believes Metcalf could follow in his footsteps.
