Injuries hit Pittsburgh hard throughout the preseason Week 2 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — and HC Mike Tomlin has provided an injury update on three Steelers .
Following the 14-17 loss to the Buccaneers, Tomlin addressed several health concerns with reporters in the postgame press conference — particularly those of OT Gareth Warren , LS Christian Kuntz , and OLB Nick Herbig .
Tomlin started off the injury updates with Warren, an undrafted rookie offensive lineman, who's being evaluated for a concussion.
Regarding Kuntz, Tomlin acknowledged that he wasn't ready to speak on hypotheticals, but stated there was some "good news" regarding the chest injury that caused him to leave the contest.
He was then asked if Herbig, who left the game with a hamstring injury, was okay, to which Tomlin responded with a resounding "yes."
Based on Tomlin's comments, it appears that none of the three Steelers are expected to miss significant time — an ideal situation with almost 20 days remaining before their regular-season kickoff versus the New York Jets .
