On Tuesday afternoon, UNC head football coach took the opportunity to speak with SportsCenter at the ACC Spring meetings. Belichick has been saturated in the media lately; however, it hasn't been for his stellar practices or performances at Chapel Hill. It has been for his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
Within the last week, reports, since proven false, broke that Hudson was no longer allowed at the UNC football facilities. The university responded with a statement saying that she was welcome and had no formal role with the team.
In the interview aired on ESPN, Belichick was approached about his relationship with Hudson and the publicity that it had received in recent weeks.
Belichick replied short and sweet before the conversation was pivoted.
"It's off to the side, a personal relationship. She doesn't have anything to do with UNC football. I'm excited to be back in coaches meetings."
The UNC football team has been stockingpiling recruits in preparation for a speculated monstrous first season with the team. The program will kick off the season with a game against TCU on Monday night, September 1st, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
