One of the fractures can only happen by way of significant force.
Despite that, Rodgers will still play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills .
Rodgers had a bee in his bonnet about playing against the Chicago Bears in Week 12 after suffering the injury in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals , but he wasn’t cleared in time by doctors.
Mason Rudolph filled in for the inured Rodgers against the Bears and went 24-of-31 for 171 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
The Steelers are 6-5 and atop the AFC North going into Sunday’s game. The Bills, meanwhile, are 7-4 and behind the first-place New England Patriots .
