On the show "Hoops Tonight" with Jason Timpf, Nick Wright was on the show and was asked if James is a top-10 playoff performer in NBA History. Wright would say there's no doubt about it, then compare James to Durant, even going as far as to say that there has not been a "day in human history" where the Houston forward was better than the Los Angeles star.
"I don't think there's five guys in the league who I would rather be running my team in a playoff game," Wright said. "I think he's still better than KD [Durant], I don't think there's been a day in human history where Kevin Durant was better than LeBron James at basketball, not one day."

While Wright's mind being set on James having the advantage over Durant, that doesn't necessarily mean the playoff matchup between the Lakers and Rockets will go that way soon. As the injuries to Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves hurt Los Angeles, Wright speaks on the change of role that James will go through.

"The single biggest spot LeBrons age has shown up is the fact that if he is giving it all out on offense, he really does get hit on defense. And we saw, once he went to the Swiss Army Knife role, that he started to be way more impactful on defense again, which is why I God, I hope Luka can be back for Game six, and I think Bron can get them," Wright said.
It remains to be seen if Donic and Reaves return and if James can extend the series, as Game 1 between the two teams is on Saturday night.
