Bengals free agent sentenced to jail after reckless driving charge
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt was booked into Hamilton County Jail on Tuesday after a guilty plea to reckless driving.
According to Local 12’s Chelsea Sick , Taylor-Britt pleaded guilty to reckless driving and driving without a valid license due to two incidents last year and was sentenced to five days in jail, which the judge described as "generous."
From the report:
The charges date back to June, when prosecutors say Taylor-Britt drove through downtown Cincinnati and ran several red lights. He was cited again in September, shortly after the Bengals ’ game against Jacksonville.
According to police, Taylor-Britt was accused of driving without a license, drag racing, crossing a yellow line.

After a rocky 2024, Taylor-Britt was in and out of the lineup this past season and outright benched at points while the Bengals searched for answers under new coordinator Al Golden. He then suffered a season-ending injury that requires surgery.
While Taylor-Britt has indicated he wants to return after rehabbing his injury, the Bengals appear ready to move forward with Dax Hill and DJ Turner at the boundary cornerback spots.
