After he was helped to the sideline, Campbell was carted to the locker room with a towel over his head.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport , Campbell is believed to have suffered an MCL sprain. He’ll undergo an MRI and could possibly go on injured reserve.
Patriots coach Mike Vrabel didn’t have an update on Campbell during his weekly WEEI appearance , but said he doesn’t expect him to play in Week 13 against the New York Giants .
“I wouldn’t imagine that Will is going play in the game. I don’t think that will be something that will happen,” Vrabel said . “That injury is going to probably be more than a week or two.”
