The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-0 on Tuesday. The final score may make it seem like it was a rather uneventful game from a competitive and drama standpoint, however, one specific incident led to tension between the teams. Brewers reliever Abner Uribe made a gesture toward the Cardinals' dugout after striking out Alec Burleson in the 8th inning.

So, will any of the drama carry over into Wednesday's game between the National League Central rivals? According to Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich , the situation has been "handled," via Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.
" Christian Yelich says last night's beef between the Brewers and Cardinals has been 'handled.' Asked whether that means internally or via overtures between the two clubhouses, he said, 'Both,'" McCalvy reported.
Burleson, who was hitting when Uribe made the gesture, has a different take , however, via Jeff Jones of BND.com.
"Alec Burleson said he hasn't heard from anyone on the Brewers as of this morning and that he didn't see Uribe in real time last night. 'I don't know what would have happened if I did,'" Jones reported.
The Cardinals have been one of the biggest surprises in MLB this year. They are rebuilding, yet St. Louis is 29-24 and in second place in the National League Central standings. Meanwhile, Milwaukee is 32-20 and in first place in the division.
Competitive baseball is often played between these NL Central rivals. It remains to be seen if the drama will carry into Wednesday's game, though. First pitch for Wednesday afternoon's game is scheduled for 1:40 PM EST.
