PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns may not be finished with internal signings this week, as one analyst believes there could be more moves on the horizon.
According to Arizona Sports' John Gambadoro, he expects the Suns to sign CJ Huntley to a two-way contract within the next few days.
Update : The Suns have announced they signed Huntley to a two-way contract on Monday, March 2.

Huntley has averaged 14.8 points and 8.4 rebounds with the Valley Suns — Phoenix's G League affiliate. The forward has emerged as one of the squad's most productive frontcourt players, combining consistent scoring with strong work on the glass.
Those numbers reflect not only growth, but efficiency in the minutes he has been given. For a Suns team that has at times needed improved rebounding, Huntley's production offers upside at a low-risk cost.

A two-way contract would allow Huntley to move between the G League and the NBA while preserving roster flexibility. He could provide depth for a Phoenix squad that has frequently needed it this season.
The potential signing also signals the Suns' continued emphasis on internal development rather than solely relying on veteran free agents. With the playoff race often hinging on depth and durability, adding a productive forward who is already familiar with the organization's system could prove valuable.

While the Suns are not the only team to make such moves, it reflects a broader NBA trend of relying on two-way players to navigate the long regular season. Similar paths have worked before, and Huntley would have the opportunity to develop and compete at the highest level simultaneously.
If finalized, the move would mark another step in Huntley's climb from prospect to potential NBA contributor.
