This one can be filed under "hard to believe, but 100% true." Because it's that crazy of a stat.
The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks will meet for the third time this season after splitting the series, 1-1, during the regular season. The Rams won in Week 11, 21-19, while the Seahawks stole one in Week 16, 38-37, in overtime.

No two teams were more evenly matched than these two NFC West rivals, and it's fitting that they'll meet in the conference championship to determine which team will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. The stats show just how close their two games were during the regular season.
Field Yates of ESPN reminded us of that, showing that only 1 yard and one point separated the Rams and Seahawks this season in their two meetings. The Rams scored 58 points to the Seahawks' 57, and outgained Seattle by 1 yard, 830 to 829.
And if you zoom out to the all-time series , that's equally tight. The Seahawks lead it 29-28, outscoring the Rams, 1,223-1,222. Yes, seriously.
The Rams won a nailbiter over the Seahawks in Week 11, holding off Seattle's offense in the final moments to force a long field goal, which was missed by Jason Myers . That was in Los Angeles , a pivotal game in the Rams' season.

The Seahawks got back at the Rams in Week 16 when the two entered the game tied at 11-3. The Rams blew a 16-point fourth-quarter lead in that one, losing in overtime on a touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and an ensuing two-point conversion to walk it off.
If the NFC title game is any bit like their first two meetings, football fans are in for an absolute treat on Sunday.
