The Buffalo Bills are going all in on the 2026 season. Buffalo replaced Sean McDermott with Joe Brady at head coach. They also made an aggressive move to acquire wide receiver DJ Moore from Chicago. The Bills are hopeful that the connection between Moore and QB Josh Allen will take their offense to the next level.
Moore is excited about playing with Allen in 2026. But he admitted that there are some growing pains as they get used to each other.
"It's going good," Moore said May 26th, per Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News. "I mean, it's gonna be perfect later on, but right now it's still growing pains."
Despite the growing pains, Allen is already impressed with what Moore can do on the football field.
"Some of the cuts that he makes with the ball in his hands already, and we don't have pads on, but he's able to contort his body in different ways that I don't think I've ever seen, and he's not a small guy," Allen said back in May. "So, it's been pretty fun to watch, but he's super-smooth. He's faster than you think, and he just kind of glides on people. So, just trying to learn as much as I can and making sure we get on the same page because he's very fun to throw to."
Moore is equally impressed by how much work Allen puts into preparation each week.
"Just how fast he can just dial it up throughout the week and pick up new things … and we talk about it, and just go out there and do it," Moore added.
Moore projects as Buffalo's leading receiver next to Khalil Shakir. He should be in store for plenty of targets later this fall.
It will be exciting to see Allen and Moore establish a rapport during training camp.
