The Detroit Pistons released their latest injury report Friday morning ahead of a pivotal Game 6 matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers , with Duncan Robinson once again headlining the list as Detroit attempts to avoid elimination.
Robinson is listed as questionable with low back soreness for Friday night’s contest, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Prime Video at Little Caesars Arena. The Pistons also listed Kevin Huerter as questionable with a left adductor strain and Caris LeVert as questionable with a right heel contusion.
All three players appeared on Detroit’s injury report prior to Wednesday’s 117-113 overtime loss in Game 5 . However, Robinson was the only one unavailable for the contest.
Huerter played limited minutes in Game 5, logging just three minutes while recording one assist without attempting a shot. LeVert provided a larger contribution off the bench, finishing with seven points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block while shooting 2-for-7 from the field and converting all three of his free throw attempts across 24 minutes.
Robinson remains crucial for Pistons entering Game 6 elimination matchup vs. Cavs
Robinson last played in Detroit’s 112-103 Game 4 loss, where he totaled four points, one rebound and one assist in 29 minutes. He shot 1-for-2 from beyond the arc and added one made free throw in the defeat.
Despite missing Game 5, the 32-year-old forward has remained one of Detroit’s most productive offensive players throughout the second-round series. Across the four games he has played against Cleveland, Robinson is averaging 13.8 points, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.8 rebounds per game while shooting 54.3% from the field and 57.7% from three-point range in 32.5 minutes per contest.
Detroit enters Friday facing another elimination scenario after already overcoming a 3-1 deficit against the Orlando Magic in the opening round. A victory would force a decisive Game 7 on Sunday at Little Caesars Arena, also airing on Prime Video.
