Former Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love picked third in 2026 NFL Draft
Former Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love has been selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2026 NFL Draft. He's the third overall pick in the first round of the draft.
Taking a look back at his career, Love's stats at Notre Dame are gaudy. He played three seasons from 2023-2025 and in 41 games he had 433 carries for 2,882 yards and 36 touchdowns. That's 6.7 yards per attempt and 70.3 yards per game.
And that's just rushing. Love had 63 career receptions for 594 yards and six touchdowns. That's 9.4 yards per catch and 14.5 yards per game.
Love finished third in Heisman Trophy voting in 2025, and was also an All-American. He also had a touchdown in every game in 2024, setting a school record, and he set another school record for touchdowns in a season in 2025.
