Among Texas A&M's 13 invitees to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, which led the nation, four of the five offensive linemen who are headed to the NFL Draft, led by New Jersey native and former blue-chip prospect Chase Bisontis , who started at left guard during his final two seasons in College Station, are considered one of the top overall players in the draft.

Already projected as a late first-round pick, Bisontis's versatility after starting at right tackle during his 2023 freshman season provides NFL teams plenty to work with, but his impressive play at left guard, especially in pass protector will have teams like the Seattle Seahawks taking notice, while nearly every team in the second round will want to add a player of his caliber.

Based on the team, Bisontis looks like a "plug and play" option at left guard, and given the need for starting-level offensive linemen, I doubt he goes higher than 20-32 in the first round, but according to one analyst, the Houston Texans , who recently hosted Bisontis for a 30 visit, are in the ball park to select him with the 28th overall pick.

Former longtime NFL offensive line coach Mike Tice, during his recent appearance on his son Nate Tice's podcast, believes that Bisontis is the "best" interior offensive lineman in the draft and the best "finisher" among the interior offensive line crop.

This is not surprising, given his offseason work with Texas A&M S&C coach Tommy Moffitt , who is revered for his weight-room tactics and for instilling physicality and toughness into every player lucky enough to work with him during his lengthy career at LSU and the last two seasons in College Station.
