The New York Giants are looking for help in the wide receiver department after Gunner Olszewski's injury , and they're trying to work quickly to find depth. One of the options is a familiar face, as Odell Beckham Jr. had another workout with the Giants .
The workout went "reallllly well," according to NFL insider Josina Anderson.
The Giants also worked out Braxton Berrios , JuJu Smith-Schuster and Anthony Miller . It will now be interesting to see what the Giants will do, and who they will decide to sign to the team.
Beckham recently spoke about a possible reunion with the Giants, and it sounds like something that he would look forward to.
"It's a place I never wanted to leave," Beckham said via Brandon London of The Post. "And it's just a special place in my heart, just to see all of these Big Blue jerseys — just hoping for the best."
The wide receiver is also familiar with John Harbaugh, as he played for the Baltimore Ravens during the 2023 season. Harbaugh has said nothing but good things about Beckham, so it should be a seamless fit if they do decide to sign him.
Beckham was away from the game last season after being suspended for six games for PEDs. He says that time away allowed him to realize some things.
It's uncertain what Beckham can give the Giants at this point in his career, but as long as he still has the catching ability many have seen, he should be helpful.
The Giants have injuries across the board at the wide receiver position. Along with Olszewski, Malik Nabers is still recovering from his ACL injury, and Darius Slayton recently had sports hernia surgery. There's no doubt that they need help in that area, and they may decide to sign one of the receivers they worked out sooner rather than later.
