The New York Knicks are just over two weeks removed from their 2026 NBA championship win over the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks have since been on a celebration tour of sorts, appearing on talk shows, hosting a parade, putting up street signs, and more.

Recently, newly minted NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson shared a special message from the youth camp he is currently hosting in Illinois.
Wednesday was a rare rough day for Knicks fans of late, as the team watched as big man Mitchell Robinson departed the franchise in free agency to join the rival Boston Celtics , drawing a host of reactions from New York fans on the internet. While fans will always appreciate what Robinson, who was by far the longest-tenured player on the team last year, did over the years for the organization, the fact that he is now playing for arguably the team's biggest rival will be a tough pill to swallow.
The Knicks were able to hold onto both Jose Alvarado and Landry Shamet in free agency this year, and they'll be returning the entire starting five next year, headlined by Brunson, who scored 45 points to eliminate the Spurs in Game 5 on the road.

It will be interesting to see how the Knicks, a team that has been the laughingstock of the NBA for most of the 21st century, will handle their rare experience with success. No team in the league has repeated as champions since the 2018 Golden State Warriors . In fact, the only team to make it back to the Finals the following year was Golden State in 2019.
With the Eastern Conference only getting stronger this offseason, New York will have their work cut out for it to get back to the promised land.
