LeBron James continues to balance elite performance with the realities of longevity.
The NBA's oldest active player remains central to the league, even as his daily routine becomes more demanding.
His latest appearance offered a different perspective, as James featured on the Bob Does Sports YouTube show, joining Robby Berger and his group for a round of golf.

During the episode, Berger asked James what part of the day makes him feel his age. The response was immediate and delivered with a laugh.
"When I wake up. I tell my teammates all the time, I go to sleep available and I wake up doubtful," the four-time NBA champion said.
The comment reflects the physical demands of his career. Despite decades at the highest level, recovery and preparation remain central to maintaining performance.

That context shapes the conversation around his future. James has dealt with more injuries than earlier in his career, yet he has recently distanced himself from retirement talk.
According to ESPN , his next move remains uncertain as he approaches free agency.
Multiple options are under consideration, including a possible return to the Lakers or moves elsewhere.
The Golden State Warriors have emerged as one potential destination, aligning with their win-now approach around Stephen Curry .
The same report highlights the broader picture. James still wants to compete for championships, and his performances continue to justify that ambition.

That leaves the situation open. While age is increasingly part of the conversation, his future in the league remains active, with expectations that he could continue beyond this season.
