New England will now turn its attention to the afternoon matchup between the Eagles and Bills, where a Philly win would mean the Patriots (13-3) clinch the AFC East title.
If the Bills (11-4) win, the Patriots can clinch the division crown with a win next weekend against the Dolphins.
Maye left with a 42-3 lead. He finished with 256 yards passing and a career-high five touchdowns in the win. He also surpassed 4,000 yards passing on the season, becoming the third QB in franchise history to hit the mark along with Tom Brady and Drew Bledsoe.
New England can earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a Week 18 win along with a Denver (13-3) loss to the Chargers (11-5) at home.
