Cramsey is following Ryan Silverfield , who left for Arkansas after six seasons as Memphis' coach .

General manager Scott Gasper and strength coach Noah Franklin are also headed to Fayetteville to join Silverfield's staff, and more Memphis staff members could join them as well.

The Tigers had a prolific offense under Cramsey. Since he took over as offensive coordinator in 2022, Memphis finished fourth, first, first and third in scoring offense in the American Conference. The Tigers were No. 6 in the country in scoring offense in 2023.

Cramsey also helped develop Seth Henigan into Memphis' all-time leading passer, while quarterback Brendon Lewis had the best year of his career with the Tigers in 2025.
