The NFL preseason is an interesting product where the final score doesn't seem to matter all that much and the ultimate goal for every team is to escape all the exhibitions as healthy as possible. But that doesn't mean there's a significant drop in intensity because that desire is counteracted by scores of players who understand they need to show out in order to secure their spot on the roster when the games end up counting. So violent things tend to happen.
Even still, Tennessee Titans defensive end Oluwafemi Oladejo went above and beyond the call of duty on Sunday night when he took down Seattle Seahawks running back Jacardia Wright with an absolutely brutal yank of the facemask.

Wright went right down but the illegal move earned Oladejo a 15-yard penalty on the play.
The good news for the Seahawks is that Wright was able to keep playing in the game and was impressive, posting 93 yards from scrimmage. A third-year player out of Missouri State, Wright has 20 career rushing yards in the NFL and is looking to do enough this August to get himself added into the mix for Seattle.

Oledajo, a UCLA product, was taken by the Titans in the second round of last year's draft and seeking to make an impact. He did turn some heads with this play, but not for the right reason. And he probably shouldn't literally turn heads like this again because even the biggest ref hater out there knows the crew won't miss something so egregious.
