The Brooklyn Nets let go of two former Kansas stars on the eve of NBA free agency. After making several roster moves, the Nets declined to tender qualifying offers to Jalen Wilson and Ochai Agbaji, first reported by Hoopshype's Michael Scotto and confirmed by ClutchPoints. Wilson and Agbaji are both now unrestricted free agents.

The Nets also declined Ziaire Williams' $6.25 million team option amid a roster crunch on the wing.
Brooklyn acquired forward Julius Randle from the Minnesota Timberwolves last week. The rebuilding squad also re-signed forward Josh Minott to a two-year, $9.5 million deal on Monday.
Wilson spent three seasons with the Nets after they selected him at No. 51 in the 2023 NBA Draft. The former Big 12 Player of the Year received extended opportunities but struggled to carve out a consistent role.

Wilson averaged 7.4 points and 2.1 rebounds on .401/.340/.788 shooting splits in 20.2 minutes per game across 176 appearances. While he improved as a three-point shooter last season, he struggled as an interior scorer, shooting 44.4 percent on twos.

Meanwhile, Agbaji joined the Nets as a salary dump from the Toronto Raptors at this year's trade deadline. Brooklyn acquired the Raptors' 2032 second-round pick while absorbing the guard's $6.4 million expiring contract into its cap space.
Agbaji, the No. 14 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, appeared in 20 games with the Nets this season. He averaged 6.7 points and 2.3 rebounds on .455/.349/.786 shooting splits in 16.2 minutes per night.
Agbaji and Wilson won a national championship together with Kansas in 2022.
